US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman condemned on Thursday the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) practice of making payments to the families of terrorists incarcerated by Israel as “unconscionable”, following reports of advance payments made to the family of Khalil Jabarin, who stabbed American-Israeli settler Ari Fuld to death in the West Bank on Monday.

“The Palestinian Prisoner Affairs Commission has confirmed that the family of the terrorist who murdered Ari Fuld is ‘eligible to receive a monthly salary’ as compensation for his incarceration,” Friedman tweeted.

Israel’s television Channel 21 reported that the PA had transferred 12,000 Israeli shekels ($3,360) to the Palestinian slayer’s family just hours after the attack took place outside a mall in Gush Etzion Junction.
