The mission to rescue Israelis stuck in Peru was completed successfully, Passportcard Insurance and Magnus Search and Rescue announced on Sunday morning.

The group of Israeli travelers that was stuck in Machu Pichu was successfully delivered to Cusco at the completion of a 15-hour-long mission that included a 10 k.m. walk and a long bus ride.

The two Israeli companies began their rescue mission aiming to extract the group of dozens of Israelis who got stuck in the ancient city of Machu Pichu, Ynet reported on Saturday.

On Saturday the group walked about 10 km in the first phase of the planned 73 km rescue trip while being accompanied by local Magnus employees and guides.... Read More: JPost
