Following the the thaw and lifting of the embargo on Doha

Saudi Arabia will reopen its embassy in Qatar within days, following a thaw in relations between Doha and a Saudi-led bloc, Riyadh announced on Saturday.

“Our embassy will be reopened in Doha within days after completing necessary procedures,” Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan told journalists, according to Turkey's Anadolu news agency.

Saudi Arabia “will restore full diplomatic relations with Qatar,” the official further added. 

Saudi Arabia and its allies the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt in June 2017 slapped a blockade on Qatar that included closing airspace to the country over claims it backed Islamist groups and was too close to Iran, charges Doha has always denied. Read more at i24
