Palestinian Authority (PA) Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh called for Arab states to protest the signing of normalization accords between Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain, which is set to take place in Washington on Tuesday.

"Tomorrow, we will witness a black day in the history of the Arab world, of defeat for Arab League institutions, which are not united but divided," Shtayyeh said at a PA cabinet meeting.

"This will be another date to add to the calendar of Palestinian misery," he added.

"We call on the Arab states to reject the Emirati-Bahraini step and not to participate in tomorrow’s ceremony," Shtayyeh said, as cited by The Jerusalem Post. Read more at i24
