New documents filed in federal court reveal why two of the members of Marilyn Mosby's defense team are asking the court to withdraw from the case. Both attorneys say representing Mosby would create a financial hardship and conflict with their schedules.

In one filing, attorney Lucius Outlaw says the schedule for Mosby's trial will conflict with his teaching duties at the Howard University School of Law. In the other filing, attorney Gary Proctor noted that he booked a non-refundable trip to the United Kingdom and that no one consulted him about his availability.

Both attorneys are representing Mosby pro bono.

Proctor also notes that he is one attorney in a two-person law firm that represents clients facing the death penalty, which potentially creates an ethics violation, according to the filing.... Read More: FOX45
