We are understandably shaken and saddened about the break-in and vandalism that occurred at Nessah Synagogue in the early morning hours on December 14 We are grateful to the Beverly Hills Police Department for their detailed investigative work, and are confident that they will do everything possible to apprehend the individual responsible for this crime.Though it is not clear that hate was the motivation for this crime, the destruction of property, especially religious artifacts, makes it especially painful. As a community, we must remain vigilant, united, and strong. Whether this crime was committed by a hateful bigot, or a common thug who seized an opportunity to trespass and vandalize, we will not be intimated. Rather, we are propelled to unite as a community, to unite with fellow Jews,...

Question #1: Which Cities?
What are the requirements for a city to be obligated in eglah arufah?
Question #2: Where?

NEW YORK (VINnews) – The New York State Police recently modified the light bars on top of their police cruisers.
The cruisers already had horizontal light bars that sat on top of them, but these new lights bars sit horizontally and vertically.
The goal is to make the emergency vehicles more noticeable, especially from a distance.
They hope that makes it easier for you to obey the state’s Move Over Law.
For now, troopers are only the light bars to see if they make a difference. They have not said how long they plan on studying the impact.
“It’s incredibly dangerous on the side of the roadway and most of the people don’t have any idea because they’ve never been on the side of the road and if they have it’s only been for moments,” Trooper...
