Wednesday morning's commute could be slippery with a coating of snow expected.

Snow develops Tuesday night into early Wednesday with 1-2 inches expected around Baltimore, and higher amounts northwest of Baltimore City. Higher elevations and colder areas well north of Baltimore could get a little more snow.

The Eastern Shore is forecast to get a coating of snow.

Roads will likely be slippery through Wednesday morning. Most of the snow is likely to be gone by 9 a.m. Wednesday as the storm moves out of the area.
