The Maryland Transportation Authority will host an online meeting Wednesday evening to identify the location and possibility of a new crossing route across the Chesapeake Bay.

Part of a study that is expected to be completed in 2020, the MDTA is seeking public input and will explore financial options in the meeting. The meeting can be seen at baycrossingstudy.com from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m.

According to the MDTA website, the study will "...result in the identification of a preferred corridor alternative to address congestion at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and evaluation of its financial feasibility."

The MDTA can also be reached at info@baycrossingstudy.com.
