Baltimore, MD - Nov. 14, 2017:

-

On November 13th, 2017, Police Commissioner Kevin Davis and members of the Baltimore Police Command Staff met with City Councilman Isaac "Yitzy" Schleifer, representatives from the Baltimore Shomrim Safety Patrol and community members from Northwest Baltimore. During the meeting, some of the recent crimes in the NW Community were discussed along with updates on the investigations.

The Baltimore Police Department has increased police patrols in the community. Additional investigational resources have also been deployed. Detectives are following up on leads to apprehend the suspects responsible for the recent violence.

Members of the community will continue to see an increased presence of uniformed officers. This includes officers patrolling in vehicles and on foot.

We always encourage the community to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings. Suspicious activity should be reported by calling 911. Callers never have to leave their name and can remain anonymous.

The Baltimore Police Department launched a free mobile app earlier this year. Tips and photos can be submitted from the app directly to police.
