Baltimore, MD - Sept. 15, 2017 - Despite schools just returning to session and people just returning from their summer vacations, a large crowd turned out for Dalya Attar’s recent fundraiser on the US Coast Guard Cutter Taney. The USCGC Taney is the last surviving ship from the battle at Pearl Harbor, and it stands docked at the Baltimore Inner Harbor.

A candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates, Dalya Attar is campaigning on crime, education, good leadership, and improving the economy. She is running in the Democratic Primary, which will be held on June 26, 2018. Noted Ronnie Rosenbluth, "The crowd demonstrated the broad support she has from throughout the community and the city, with attendees from all ages, neighborhoods, and the district’s sectors. They understand that this is an important race for Baltimore, and Dalya is a very credible candidate who can be a great leader and strong voice for us in Maryland."

Several community leaders were in attendance, including Councilman Yitzy Schleifer.  The event had a delicious array of food, generously sponsored by Ed Hoffman’s renowned catering company, with music by DJ Neddy and photography by B. Ansbacher Photography.
