Hadera, Israel - October 9, 2024 – A complex, multi-site stabbing attack occurred in Hadera today, leaving six victims in critical, serious, and moderate condition. The Magen David Adom (MDA) 101 Emergency Call Center in the Sharon region first received reports of the incident at 11:25 AM, prompting a large-scale response from MDA teams. The victims, aged 50 to 70, were treated on-site for stab wounds before being evacuated to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center.
MDA EMTs and paramedics initially treated two victims in serious condition and one in moderate condition. Over the course of the incident, additional victims were discovered, bringing the total number of casualties to six. One person is in critical condition, while others sustained serious and moderate injuries.
MDA Medicycle Unit EMT Viki Kelly described the situation as a "complex event occurring across several scenes." She emphasized the rapid response of MDA teams to search and treat the injured while being aware that the terrorist had not yet been neutralized. “Despite the danger, we knew we had to provide medical treatment to the victims,” she said.
MDA Paramedic Shaked Hajaj shared his experience, noting that they treated a semi-conscious victim with multiple stab wounds and multisystem trauma before evacuating him to the hospital. He and other responders returned to continue treating further casualties.
MDA Paramedic and Hadera Station Manager, Yafim Shaulov, was among the first on the scene and treated two victims, one in serious condition and another in moderate condition. Both were swiftly evacuated to the hospital.
