IMPORTANT SAFETY TIPS

  • Grills—County law prohibits the use of charcoal or propane-fueled grills—or any other open-flame cooking or heating device—on any balcony or within 15 feet of multifamily buildings such as apartments. This restriction does not apply to townhouses or single family homes.
  • Fireworks—The use of backyard fireworks without a permit is illegal; some ground-based and handheld sparklers are legal in Baltimore County. Read the laws regulating fireworks. Thousands of people are injured every year in fireworks-related incidents. Fire officials encourage you to enjoy fireworks safely by visiting a legal display.

UPCOMING FIREWORKS DISPLAYS

View dates and locations of public fireworks displays approved by the Baltimore County Fire Marshal's Office. Additional displays will be added to this schedule as the Fire Marshal issues permits. The State Fire Marshal provides a list of approved fireworks displays throughout Maryland.
