The first direct commercial flights between Israel and Morocco took off in July

Israel's National Security Council on Monday canceled a travel warning that had been in effect for more than a decade.

In a statement, the council said the decision was taken following an assessment that the estimated level of threat to Israelis in Morocco declined after last year's normalization agreement signed by the two countries. 

“The estimated level of threat in Morocco has dropped,” The Council said in a text message. “At the same time, it is advisable to continue to exercise increased vigilance while staying in the country.”... Read More: i24
