A much-anticipated meeting between Baltimore’s mayor, police commissioner and Maryland’s governor took place Thursday morning.

Mayor Brandon Scott, police Commissioner Michael Harrison and Gov. Larry Hogan were set to discuss a recent spike in city violence and possibly start to layout a crime plan for the city.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Scott said the meeting was “very productive.”

“We talked about a lot of great things. We talked about restarting the criminal justice coordinating committee and the state being participants in it.”
