Judge says decision does not dismiss 'substantive underlying claims' made against Amazon hosting service

A US federal judge rejected on Thursday Parler's bid to force Amazon Web Services to restore its microblogging platform favored by right-leaning users.

U.S. District Judge Barbara Rothstein said the Twitter rival had failed to make the case for a court injunction forcing Amazon to do so.

She also rejected Parler's allegation that its de-platforming was the fruit of collusion between Amazon and Twitter.

The judge said, however, that the decision does not dismiss the “substantive underlying claims” made against the tech giant.
