The Trump campaign says in a new lawsuit in Nevada that there is evidence that more than 40,000 people voted twice and that there is evidence that votes had been cast in the names of dead people.

Campaign attorney Jesse Binnall told Judge James Russell Thursday in Las Vegas that 1,506 votes came from dead people, 42,284 double ballots were cast, about 20,000 voters voted without having a Nevada mailing address, and 2,468 voters had changed their addresses to another state, reports CBS affiliate KLAS-TV in Las Vegas.

According to results certified last week by Nevada’s Supreme Court and Gov. Steve Sisolak, Trump lost to Joe Biden in Nevada by 33,596 votes.

The legal team said it focused on a state election law that lets mail-in ballots be sent without requests, and before the hearing on Thursday the Republican Party in Nevada posted a video on Twitter showing 20 binders it said had evidence to back their claims, reports Fox News.
