Iran said to have notified IAEA of intention to install several clusters of IR-2m's on Wednesday

Iran is planning to expand the uranium enrichment at its Natanz nuclear facility, a report by the UN nuclear watchdog seen by Reuters revealed on Friday.

According to the agency, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) warned in its report that Iran was planning to install several new clusters of IR-2m centrifuges at the underground site.

The Islamic Republic reportedly notified the IAEA of the intention to do so in a letter on Wednesday.

The move would make for another breach of the 2015 nuclear accord, as it states that Iran can only place IR-1 centrifuges underground, where they would be harder to hit in an airstrike.
