One-way tickets to start at $149 as Ben Gurion Airport scarce with passengers amid the pandemic

Israeli airline Arkia announced Tuesday it will begin operating direct flight to Dubai on January 3, 2021.

It is the first Israeli company to offer flights to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) following the historic agreement signed at the White House in Washington DC last month, and cemented in a formal ceremony in Israel on Tuesday afternoon.

In light of the occasion, Arkia is offering tickets starting at $149 one way, according to outlet N12.

“We are thrilled and honored to be the first to launch Arkia flights ticket sales straight to Dubai,” Arkia International CEO Oz Berlowitz said. Read more at i24
