Maryland will begin the process of launching a new unemployment website on Wednesday.

Ahead of the conversion to the new website, the BEACON site will go offline for four days.

In order to prevent a delay in payments, Marylanders need to file their claims by Wednesday night at 5.

Maryland's unemployment insurance website will go offline Wednesday to Sunday.

If you can't file by the time, the Department of Labor will provide an extra six days to file the next week. Read more at WBALTV
