Some fall youth sports may resume in Baltimore, city officials announced Tuesday.

Tackle football, rugby and wrestling are off the table, but other sports may return in line with rules set by Baltimore City Recreation and Parks.

"We're working to create recreation with the city resident's health and safety at the forefront of our mind," Recreation and Parks Director Reginald Moore said. "All youth that participate in a fall sport... must have a mask on at all times. No exceptions will be allowed."

In addition, pavilions and park spaces will be open to private events at 25% of capacity, Mayor Bernard. C. "Jack" Young said.

Organizers of youth sporting leagues must present safety plans to city officials. Events can have no more than two spectators per participant. Read more at WBAL
