Netanyahu lauds Israel's 'greatest diplomatic triumph in its history'

US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that “five or six” more countries are close to following the UAE and Bahrain in signing peace deals with Israel.

The president’s comments were made after receiving Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, at the Oval Office at the White House -- moments before a historic signing ceremony between the former rival countries. 

Regarding the Palestinians, Trump said that they “will join at the right time, even Bibi is tired of wars,” referring to Netanyahu by his nickname.

Trump also alluded to a possible normalization deal with Saudi Arabia. "I spoke with the King of Saudi Arabia. We had a great conversation, and I think positive things will happen there, too," he suggested. Read more at i24
