Foreign citizens are currently barred from entering Israel. Numerous Israeli citizens have non-citizen family members who seek to enter Israel. For example, families in which one spouse is Israeli, and the other is not, or Israeli parents with non-Israeli children.

The following is the current guidance from the Israeli consulate in New York (as of April 19, 2020).

A married couple, where only one of the spouses is an Israeli citizen, is required to submit the following documents:

  1. A clear copy of the marriage certificate
  2. A clear copy of the Israeli spouse’s passport
  3. A clear copy of the foreign spouse’s foreign passport
  4. Digitally filled completely and handwritten signed affidavit. To download click here

  6. Complete copy of a valid flight ticket to Israel with the names of all travelers – THIS IS MANDATORY

A married Israeli couple with children whose children are not registered as Israeli citizens are required to submit the following documents:

  1. Israeli passport copy of both parents or copy of a foreign passport if one of the spouses is not a citizen of Israel
  2. A clear photograph of the birth certificate
  3. Digitally filled completely and handwritten signed affidavit. To download click here

  5. Complete copy of a valid flight ticket to Israel with the names of all travelers – THIS IS MANDATORY
  6. Passport copy of every applicant for the permit

Visitors in the process of Aliya, wishing to visit must contact the Jewish Agency directly!
