Giant officials announced new policies Tuesday after a Largo store employee died from the coronavirus and another in Dundalk tested positive.

Officials said they will start limiting the number of customers in Giant stores, encourage customers to shop with as few family members as possible and will begin one-way traffic in aisles.

The Largo employee has been identified as 27-year-old Leilani Jordan. Officials said Jordan had not worked at the store since March 16 and tested positive for the virus later that month. 

“We are saddened to confirm that a store associate from our Campus Way South location in Largo passed away from COVID-19,” Giant said in a statement. “We were informed of her passing on Thursday morning by her family." Read more at WBAL
