BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Baltimore Police Department's communications director is resigning, announced the department today.

Matt Jablow, who has been with the agency for two years, will be leaving "in the next couple of weeks."

Lindsey Eldridge will then become Acting Director of Public Affairs and Community Outreach, according to a news release.

Eldridge has been with the Mayor's Office since 2013 and has served as Community Outreach Coordinator at BPD since this past August.

“I would like to thank Chief Jablow for his service and dedication to the police department over the last two years,” Commissioner Michael Harrison said in a statement. “Matt has been an asset to the agency and has played a crucial role in my administration since I arrived in Baltimore.” Read more at FOX Baltimore
