Baltimore police are investigating a series of armed carjackings near the Homewood campus of Johns Hopkins University.

Police said a person was carjacked around 4 p.m. on June 30 on North Charles Street. The other two happened on Huntingdon Avenue and University Place. None of the victims were affiliated with the university.

"I feel like it's even worse because there have been three. It means they're still out there. You don't know who's doing it or if there are multiple suspects," said Valentina Mattfeld, a resident.

Investigators believe the same assailants might be responsible for the first two crimes.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
