Joppa, MD (AP) — May 25, 2018 - The governor of Maryland, the Baltimore County police chief and the mother of a 29-year-old officer killed in the line of duty will speak at her funeral.

Amy Caprio was run over by a Jeep while investigating a burglary Monday at a house in Perry Hall. Four teenagers are charged with murder.

Her funeral service is being held Friday morning at Mountain Christian Church in Joppa.

Gov. Larry Hogan and Chief Terrance Sheridan will address the congregation. County police say in a news release that Caprio's mother will offer personal reflections, and four fellow officers will also speak. A Baltimore Symphony Orchestra member will play a trumpet solo.

Caprio will be buried at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium.

Baltimore County announced road closures for the viewing and funeral for Officer Amy Caprio, who was killed Monday.

On Thursday, all lanes of Belair Road will be closed in both directions between Chapel Road and Honeygo Boulevard between noon and 10 p.m.

Sign boards will direct traffic to Joppa Road, Chapel Road and Honeygo Boulevard, with detour instructions.

Residents and guests attending the viewing will be allowed through on Belair Road.

A private viewing will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home, on Belair Road just south of Honeygo Boulevard, from 1 to 2 p.m. that day.

It will be followed by a public viewing from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The funeral will take place at Mountain Christian Church Friday.

That day, heavy delays should be expected between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Route 152, said the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

It warned of "heavy traffic, delays, and potential road closures.
