5th-8th grade Ivrit teacher |
Ohr Chadash Academy
Ohr Chadash Academy embraces a progressive, student-centered approach to education that inspires innovation, creativity, and collaboration among teachers and students, alike. As a school community, we employ research-based instructional methods and continually refine and adjust our professional practice in order to maximize student learning. We teach our students and value in our faculty the ability to maintain growth mindset, to reflect on process over product, and value lifelong learning. As an Orthodox Jewish Day School, we believe in the inherent kedusha of all learning. This core value inspires our commitment to excellence in Judaic and general studies, alike. From our 2-year-old class through 8th grade, each student is nurtured both as the individual he or she is and as a contributing member of our caring school community, the greater Jewish community, and the global community. We are seeking passionate, dynamic, professional educators to join our elementary and middle school staff. Qualified candidates should be reflective learners and practitioners able to implement best practices in teaching using flexible and individualized instruction, technology integration, and center-based learning to help every student achieve success.
