About the Position

Background:
For close to a century, The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore has helped shaped Jewish life in Greater Baltimore, Israel and around the world. By responding to challenges and seizing opportunities, The Associated has effectively embraced the ever changing demographics and landscape to secure a bright future. In celebration of The Associated’s 100th anniversary, The Centennial Campaign will seek to embolden and inspire donors to join in investing in Baltimore’s Jewish future.

Position:
The Associated is a seeking a Centennial Campaign Manager to provide back office support for Major Gift Officers and Donor Officers in the cultivation and stewardship of key donors. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Providing administrative support to the Chief Development Officer and key Centennial Campaign Professionals
•Conducting donor and prospect research
•Managing the Donor Relations Management System, as well as, developing and enhancing tracking and measurements within the database in partnership with the Donor Center
•Assisting in identifying potential donors
•Developing and preparing materials and information for meetings with prospective and current donors

•Superior interpersonal skills
•Exceptional oral and written communication skills
•Organized, task-oriented, with excellent follow through
•Highly adept at handling sensitive and confidential information
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new database systems

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree
•Two to three years’ experience in fundraising and database management
•Successful track record in providing administrative support and customer service
•Strong knowledge of and commitment to the mission of The Associated; familiarity with Jewish culture is a plus
