Early Childhood/Elementary Special Educator

SHEMESH, a program of The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore, is seeking a Master’s level special educator with experience in early childhood and elementary schools to provide classroom consultation and modeling, development and implementation of behavior plans, social skills instruction, teacher-coaching and parent education. Potential candidates will have 5+ years of work experience that includes classroom teaching, skill assessment, behavior management, and knowledge of the IEP process. This individual must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to develop and maintain relationships with school staff and family members. Experience in the planning and presentation of workshops for teachers and/or parents a plus. Familiarity with the Jewish day school system preferred.
