A judge on Wednesday issued a temporary restraining order over a dispute between Baltimore residents and Baltimore Gas and Electric.


A judge ordered a 10-day temporary restraining order, saying BGE can't cut and/or install external regulators and that gas service must be turned back on for the Federal Hill homeowners who fought and objected to the external meters and regulators.

Thiru Vignarajah, a spokesman for the homeowners, said they are overjoyed by the judge's preliminary ruling. "They do not need to worry about their gas service being turned off. It's a good day."
