The IDF confirmed on Thursday that the IAF conducted an intelligence-based strike on a terrorist command center belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror organization in Damascus.
According to the IDF, the command center was used to plan and direct terrorist activities by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad against the State of Israel.
"The IDF will not allow terrorist organizations to entrench themselves in Syrian territory and operate against the State of Israel and will respond forcefully to any such entrenchment," the IDF stated.
"The IDF will continue to act against Palestinian terrorist organizations wherever necessary and will continue to operate to protect the citizens of the State of Israel," it added.

Baltimore, MD - March 12, 2025 - Four teens have been arrested and are facing charges after carjacking an elderly woman in Baltimore.
Police say on March 11 around 4:45 a.m., officers responded to the 3200 block of Washington Blvd. after receiving a report of a carjacking.
Upon arrival, authorities say they learned that a 76-year-old woman had been approached by four male teen suspects who forcibly removed her from her car before fleeing the scene in her vehicle.
On March 12 around 2:50 a.m., authorities were able to locate the stolen vehicle at Interstate 95 near the Canton Ave. exit.
Police say they arrested four teens at that location, three 15-year-old and one 16-year-old boy.

Tel Aviv, Israel - March 12, 2025 - An 18-year-old Israeli man was moderately wounded on Wednesday when a terrorist opened fire at him near the Shovael Agricultural Farm, close to the Western Ariel Industrial Zone. Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that the young man was conscious and sustained a gunshot wound to his arm. He was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in moderate condition.
Senior MDA paramedic Gennady Dubinsky described the scene: "We arrived to find an 18-year-old fully conscious and suffering from a gunshot wound. We learned he was injured while driving near the farm. We provided him with medical treatment at the scene and continued care on the way to the hospital. His condition is moderate and stable."
