A senior Hamas official on Thursday rejected a partial deal which would include the release of Israeli hostages in exchange for a temporary ceasefire, Al Hadath reported. The elections were held between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. at the Chief Rabbinate headquarters in Jerusalem. 136 out of the 140 members of the electoral body participated in the voting. As his levaya was in Eretz Yisroel many of us were unable to participate in the hespedim. We will be having hespedim in shul to commemorate the shloshim on Sunday, November 10 at 10 AM. A woman in her 60s and a man in his 20s were killed wounded on Thursday by a rocket strike during a barrage in the Haifa Bay Area. MDA is reporting that another man in his 70s was lightly wounded and updated that the three are suffering from shrapnel wounds. The IDF that approximately 25 projectiles were identified crossing from Lebanon during the barrage. Some of the projectiles were intercepted and fallen projectiles were identified in the area.

Five people were killed in an agricultural area in Metulla, in northern Israel, following Hezbollah rocket fire from Lebanon, Israeli media reported on Thursday afternoon. The IDF confirmed earlier on Thursday two rockets were launched from Lebanon and fell in "open areas," which, according to early indications, were agricultural sites near the town. Israeli media reported that one citizen, a farmer, was killed in the attack, along with four foreign workers. A sixth person was seriously wounded in the incident, with severe injuries sustained via shrapnel. They were transferred for emergency medical assistance at Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa.
