American airline JetBlue Airways has updated their in-flight map to show the words 'Palestinian Territory' in significantly larger text than the word ‘Israel,’ to the point where it is overlaid on the entire state of Israel, N12 reported Tuesday evening.
Hodaya Knafo, an Israeli woman studying in the United States, told N12 that she was on a domestic flight from Miami to San Diego when she tried to show another passenger where Israel was located on her seat’s personal screen. "The label was prominently displayed in a way that didn't seem innocent,” she said, and additionally, the borders were incorrect."

Forty-nine percent of Jewish Israelis agree with the statement, “Israel must not relinquish control of the Philadelphi Corridor even at the expense of a hostage deal,” a Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI) survey showed.
In its new survey, JPPI also found that 43% percent support the statement, “Israel should give up control of the Philadelphi Corridor to enable a hostage deal.”

Two elementary schools, Kingsville and Jacksonville, have toxic chemicals in their drinking water that are above standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency. At both schools, water fountains cannot be used and bottled water is being provided for drinking. Tap water can be used, though, for handwashing only.
The chemicals found are polyfluroalkyl substances, commonly known as PFAS. Environmentalists call them forever chemicals because they don’t break down once they’re released into the atmosphere. They can build up in the body and cause harm, even at low levels.

A senior Israeli official told mediators in recent days that Israel has agreed to withdraw from the Philadelphi Corridor in the second phase of a potential hostage deal with Hamas, Kan 11 reported. As part of the anniversary ceremony held by the Satmar Rebbe, with the participation of thousands of Hasidim, the Rebbe spoke about the difficult problem of housing prices in the local community.
In recent years Kiryas Joel, home to many Hasidic in New York, has seen a drastic increase in apartment prices. The price per square meter jumped from $1,800 five years ago to $6,000 today – an increase of about 400 percent.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Turk, on Tuesday called for an independent investigation into "reports" about the execution of six Israeli hostages by Hamas last week.
