The Islamic Jihad terrorist organization on Monday threatened to assassinate Israel's National Security Minister-designate MK Itamar Ben-Gvir.
The terrorist organization's spokesman in Judea and Samaria warned that Ben-Gvir's fate "would be the same as Rehavam Ze'evi."
Ze'evi, who was serving as Israel's Tourism Minister at the time, was assassinated by terrorists from the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine in October 2001.
The spokesman claimed that Ben-Gvir's appointment as senior minister in the incoming Israeli government "will only hasten the disappearance of the occupation."

A Ukrainian military delegation secretly visited Israel recently, Channel 13 News reported.
This is a visit by a Ukrainian delegation made up of military personnel, including a very senior member of the Ukrainian army whose rank is equivalent to one of the deputy chiefs of staff of the IDF.
They arrived in Israel in the last few days for a series of meetings with senior IDF and Defense Ministry officials for the purpose of promoting the construction of anti-missile warning systems which Israel has announced it will supply to Ukraine.
Israel has sought to keep the delegation a secret to avoid antagonizing Russia, which remains at war with Ukraine.

Amazon Web Services, the largest cloud-computing provider, is promising by 2030 to replenish the water its massive data centers consume, the latest environmental pledge from the internet giant.
Parent company Amazon said in a statement Monday it’s supporting efforts to replenish groundwater in California, the UK and India to offset the water the company’s cloud centers use. Google, which has vowed to offset 120% of its water usage, revealed last week that its global data centers consume 4.3 billion gallons of water a year. Microsoft has already committed to replenish more water than it consumes by the end of the decade.

The country’s fourth-largest city ordered millions of residents Sunday night to boil their tap water, citing a morning power outage at a city water purification plant.
The city’s school system also announced late Sunday that it would be closed Monday, at a minimum, as officials “closely monitor the situation.” The district’s 276 schools serve nearly 200,000 students. Other smaller school districts in the area also announced closures.
The 10:30 a.m. outage caused water pressure at the plant to drop below required levels. That caused water pressure problems for some residents that were resolved later in the day, public works officials said in a statement.

Drivers are urged to check all of their license plates for video tolls to see if fines are owed before a Maryland customer assistance plan that waives civil penalties ends this week.
The Maryland Transportation Assistance Plan offered a nine-month grace period for unpaid video tolls. As the program reaches its final hours, the Maryland Transportation Authority urged customers to pay unpaid video tolls in full by 11:59 p.m. Nov. 30.
The grace period was adopted after more than 27,000 E-ZPass customers signed an online petition calling for an investigation into billing errors. Maryland EZ-Pass users signed a Change.org petition asking Gov. Larry Hogan to investigate the billing system.

Uber riders have been the recent target of violence in Baltimore City.
Over the weekend police received several reports of people posing as Uber drivers assaulting and robbing customers.
The latest incident happened Sunday, just before 1:30am outside Horseshoe Casino.
Police say a man picked up what he thought was an Uber from the valet area.
After taking the victim in the wrong direction, the so called Uber driver reportedly pulled over in the 1600 block of Bayard Street.
That's when the victim claims a second car pulled up from behind with between 5-6 armed assailants.
They allegedly ordered the victim out of the car and demanded his cell phone.
The victim said the group then hit him multiple times in the face, before getting back in the car and fleeing along with the "Uber."...

Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu and MK Bezalel Smotrich on Sunday evening held a meeting, which lasted approximately three hours, together with the negotiating teams of the Likud Party and the Religious Zionist Party.

Question #1: Reuven calls me: I have not been well, and I need to eat something shortly after awaking. On weekdays, I go to shul to daven when I wake up and I can wait to eat until after davening, but I do not have this option on Shabbos. What should I do?
Question #2: Ahuva asks: It is difficult for me to wait for Kiddush until my husband returns from shul. May I eat something before he arrives home?
Question #3: Someone told me that a woman may not eat in the morning before she davens, but I remember being taught in Beis Yaakov that we may eat once we say the morning berachos. Is my memory faulty?

A 62-year old man who was seriously injured in the Wednesday, November 23rd bombings in Jerusalem reported to his doctors and guests at Shaare Zedek Medical Center that his life had been saved in part due to the Tehillim (Psalms) book which was in his pocket when the explosion occurred.
On Wednesday morning, the man was travelling from his Jerusalem home to Meron in northern Israel, when he was struck by the force of the explosion.
While he was injured by the blast and several fragments of shrapnel from the bomb, he later discovered that one potentially lethal fragment had penetrated the rear cover of the book of Tehilim he was carrying.

Ya'akov barely escapes his homicidal brother, fleeing from his family, penniless and alone. Traveling at night to a faraway sanctuary, he is uncertain about his future and uncomfortable about his past. Though his mother supported him and promoted his interests, his father always favored his violent older brother. Even though Ya'akov secured his father’s blessings, he never received his father’s explicit endorsement. As Yaakov departed for the unknown, he was still unsure whether his father endorsed his behavior. Carrying all that pain, uncertainty, and feelings of abandonment, Ya’akov flees to a safe refuge, hiding from his angry and vengeful brother. His nighttime journey is probably the loneliest scene in the entire book of Bereishit.
