“She was Baltimore Royalty.” Those words were repeated over and over again when news of the passing of Mrs. Elinor Cohn, Elka bat Binyamin Tzvi, Z'L, was shared.
How true those words are. Always full of poise, dignity and grace- Elinor Cohn was Baltimore Royalty. No matter where you would see her she was always put together, nails done, lipstick set and a radiant smile as she would greet you. There was an inner beauty that emanated from her as well. A pure heart, always there to help, be involved, and give advice and never asking for anything in return.

Baltimore, MD - Sept. 23, 2022 - Yesterday, Chaverim of Baltimore received a call for a stranded caller with 2 flat tires.
Units 34,38,82 and 84 responded. On scene, they confirmed that both tires could not be plugged. They removed both tires, put the spare in place of 1 and a jack stand in place of the other. Unit 34 took both bad tires and the caller to the tire shop to have them replaced.
They then drove back and installed the new tires!!

In one of his final addresses to the Jewish people, Moshe says, For this commandment which I command you this day, is not concealed from you, nor is it far away. It is not in heaven, that you should say, "Who will go up to heaven for us and fetch it for us, to tell [it] to us, so that we can fulfill it?" Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, "Who will cross to the other side of the sea for us and fetch it for us, to tell [it] to us, so that we can fulfill it?" Boeing and its former CEO Dennis Muilenburg agreed to pay hefty fines to settle charges from the Securities and Exchange Commission that they misled the public about the safety of the 737 Max following two fatal crashes in 2018 and 2019.
The SEC alleges that, following an October 2018 crash of a Lion Air 737 Max jet that killed 189 people, Boeing and Muilenburg knew that part of the plane's flight control system posed an ongoing safety concern yet told the public that the 737 Max was safe to fly. After a March 10, 2019 fatal 737 Max crash, the SEC alleges that Boeing and Muilenburg knowingly misled the public about "slips" and "gaps" in the certification process of that flight control system.

In a court filing on Thursday, the federal judge tasked with reviewing the FBI-seized materials from Mar-a-Lago directed federal prosecutors to begin producing the approximately 11,000 documents that were recovered last month from former President Donald Trump's Florida home.
The plan and timeline laid out by U.S. District Judge Raymond Dearie states that by Monday, the Department of Justice must provide electronic copies of the materials not labeled classified to both Dearie and Trump's team.

Baltimore, MD - Sept. 18, 2022 - Our friendship was born out of a very public dispute. We were speaking more at each other than with each other, and decided studying Torah together would change that.
A very good friend of mine passed away this week. His name was Louis Sapolsky, but everyone knew him as “Buddy”, and he was indeed everyone’s buddy.
Buddy was unstintingly warm and friendly, a Jewish communal professional with a huge heart and endearing manner. We were close friends, and for more than ten years we were chavrutas, Torah study partners, as Buddy, Eric Nislow, and I would get together every other week for serious Torah study.

Average long-term mortgage rates jumped by more than a quarter-point this week to their highest level since 2007 as the Federal Reserve intensified its effort to tamp down decades-high inflation and cool the economy.
Mortgage buyer Freddie Mac reported Thursday that the 30-year rate climbed to 6.29%, from 6.02% last week. That’s the highest it’s been since August 2007, a year before a crash in the housing market triggered the Great Recession.

Gen. Sir Richard Shirreff, former NATO deputy supreme allied commander for Europe, is warning that the West must be prepared for war with Russia.
He made his comments during an interview with Times Radio.
