An attorney for former President Trump says he will fight to block the release of his tax returns days after the Department of Justice ordered them turned over to the Democratic-led House Ways and Means Committee. “There is no evidence of any wrongdoing here and I object to the release of the returns not only on behalf of my client but on behalf of all future holders of the office of the president of the United States,” Ronald Fischetti, a lawyer for Trump, told The Wall Street Journal. In a memo from the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel, acting Assistant Attorney General Dawn Johnsen on Friday said the Treasury Department is required to defer to the congressional committee.

"Shalom Sivan, his it's Avi Naveh from Ma'alot (in Upper Galilee). I am an educator and - as much as it's a cliche to admit - my work at school is easy compared to my work at home. We are at the height of summer vacation and we have reached the conclusion that our two biggest challenges revolve around digital devices:  excessive use of cell phones on the one hand and difficulty waking up in the morning on the other.  And, of course, the two are connected. When the kids are glued to their screens until the middle of the night, the result is that every morning I try in vain to wake them up, shouting and trudging up the stairs numerous times, while providing wake-up service to the entire neighborhood in the process. The daily rhythm is sabotaged as night becomes day a...

The leak of a coronavirus that caused the deadly COVID-19 pandemic was likely accidental, Rep. Mike McCaul, the top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said Monday about a new report from the panel’s Republican staff on the origins of the disease released Monday. However, the “greatest cover-up in human history” came into play at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in late 2019, the Texas Republican told Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom.” “I think the Chinese Communist Party was very concerned about this report coming out telling the truth and it’s already been interpreted into Mandarin as well,” said McCaul. “The fact of the matter is, they were playing with fire. They were genetically manipulating at th...
