NEW YORK, May 8 (Reuters) - Top U.S. fuel pipeline operator Colonial Pipeline has shut its entire network, the source of nearly half of the U.S. East Coast's fuel supply, after a cyber attack that the company said was caused by ransomware. The incident is one of the most disruptive digital ransom operations ever reported and has drawn attention to how critical U.S. energy infrastructure is vulnerable to hackers. The shutdown has raised fears of a price spike at gasoline pumps ahead of peak summer driving season if it persists. Colonial transports 2.5 million barrels per day of gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and other refined products through 5,500 miles (8,850 km) of pipelines linking refiners on the Gulf Coast to the eastern and southern United States. It was over in a matter of hours.  Missouri HB349, a school choice bill that provides tuition scholarships through a tax credit, passed in the Missouri House yesterday and is on its way to the governor.  “We were pleasantly surprised,” says Rabbi Shlomo Soroka, Director of Government Affairs, Agudath Israel of Illinois, a former Missourian who has led the Agudah’s efforts in Missouri. “The bill was being held hostage in committee and we were fearful it was going to die there, and then yesterday, in a matter of hours, it was voted out of the committee, released to the senate floor, voted on and passed.” Agudah and its school choice partners are elated at the news. Baltimore, MD - May 7, 2021 - In what seems to be a pattern of late-night  criminal attacks in the Baltimore community, there is yet another to add to the list. At 10:00 p.m. Thursday night a young orthodox Jewish mother was coming home from the store when she was approached by two African American males with a gun. The two threatened her at gunpoint forcing her to hand over her phone, purse, and valuables. After handing over her valuables and instinctively yelling for her husband, they fled the scene as her husband appeared. The incident occurred on the corner of Taney and Pimlico. It is at this time when we urge all community members to be incredibly vigilant. In light of previous incidents this begs the question of all in the community: When will this end? When will security mea...
