Maryland state employees will be offered a $100 financial incentive to get the COVID-19 vaccine, Gov. Larry Hogan announced Monday.
As of Monday, Maryland has reported more than 4.9 million vaccinations.
All state employees who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are eligible for the program.

Baltimore, MD - May 3, 2021 - Baltimore's Cheder Chabad and Yeshiva Lubavitch arranged and gathered together on Lag B’omer for a lively parade and rally, featuring a marching band, floats, clowns, pesukim and more. Rabbi Shmuel Kaplan, head shliach of Maryland, was among the participants.
The yeshiva bochurim prepared floats displaying mitzvos such as a giant mezuzah and tzedaka box. They brought lots of chayus with their singing and dancing clowns, and prepared a very exciting progam for the kids.
Local shluchim, schools, parents and families were in attendance.
The parade was followed by a rally and pesukim, with raffles and prizes for every child. The crowd then proceeded indoors for an entertaining science show.

Jerusalem, Israel - Hundreds of people accompanied Rabbi Moshe Tzarfati to his final resting place in Jerusalem’s Sanhedria Cemetery on Sunday, paying their respects to a man who served as a father and rabbi to many members of the Israel Defense Forces.
