The number of people viewing Trump’s final speech as president far overshadowed Joe Biden’s inaugural address in online viewers among some of the establishment media outlets like ABC News and CBS News.
An apples-to-apples comparison of YouTube videos of Trump’s remarks at Joint Base Andrews on Wednesday morning versus Biden’s shows the difference.
As of this writing, ABC’s coverage of the 45th president’s speech garnered over 265,000 views, while for Biden just over 73,000 clicked in.

The Biden administration on Wednesday unfroze $27.4 billion in government funding that former President Trump locked up before leaving office.
Last Thursday, Trump used a budgetary legal provision calling on Congress to rescind funds from 73 programs that were fully funded in December’s $2.3 trillion omnibus spending bill. Trump signed the bill into law but complained about many of its provisions.

The National Archives and Records Administration officially launched a website for former President Trump’s Presidential Library.
The site was launched on Wednesday shortly after President Biden’s inauguration, and features the archived websites of the Trump White House and other sites such as former first lady Melania Trump’s Be Best Initiative.

The World Health Organization (WHO) is reportedly in the final stages of reviewing three coronavirus vaccines for international emergency distribution.
Reuters reported Wednesday that an internal document obtained by the newswire indicated that the WHO could in the coming weeks or months give the green light to the inoculations developed by Moderna, AstraZeneca and China’s Sinopharm and Sinovac.
The WHO has already approved the vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo proposed raising taxes on the wealthy to a combined level of 14.7%, which would be the highest state-and-local tax rate in the nation.
The tax increase would raise $1.5 billion for the state, Cuomo said Tuesday in an address unveiling his 2022 budget proposal.

Facebook has no plan in place to lift an indefinite suspension on former President Donald Trump’s Facebook account even though he’s left office, NBC News reported.
Citing unnamed sources, the news outlet reported the ban will continue, with no current plan to lift it.
