Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Wednesday called on the administration to declassify a report detailing the current number of Palestinian refugees who are receiving aid from the United Nations Works and Relief Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA).
“Very important that the Trump administration declassify the report that provides a current estimate of the number of Palestinian refugees who are receiving support. This goes to the heart of speaking hard truths in the name of moving peace forward,” she tweeted.

A column this week by former Defense Secretary James N. Mattis that blasted President Trump’s “America First” theme did not disclose that Mr. Mattis holds a senior position at the Cohen Group, a firm that dedicates itself to making business deals in China.
Mr. Trump’s get-tough approach toward China — tariffs and prohibitions on Beijing’s cyberproducts — is generally counter to the Cohen Group’s objective of bringing Chinese and U.S. companies together in multimillion dollar deals.

Food stockpiling and curbs on agricultural commodity exports are expected to continue into 2021 as governments try to dampen a rapid rise in prices, according to a report from Rabobank.
“While we do not expect consumers to stockpile like they did at the peak of the first COVID-19 wave, some governments are still doing so,” the bank said, pointing to the surge in China’s wheat imports, India’s imposition of stock limits on onions and Ukraine’s quick move to set grain export quotas this year.

In his new memoir, the former U.S. president misleads readers in a way that will forever shape their negative perspective of the Jewish state.
I have never criticized former U.S. President Barack Obama publicly—neither during my time in the Knesset nor anywhere else—despite my having disagreed with many of his policies. I am of the strong opinion that Israelis should not engage in or interfere with American politics, and I regularly offer a blanket thank you to all American presidents, including Obama, for their economic and military support for Israel.
However, his memoir, A Promised Land, is filled with historical inaccuracies that I feel the need to address. His telling of Israel’s story (at the beginning of Chapter 25) not only exhibits a flawed und...

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — The recent peace agreements between Israel and Arab nations in the Middle East have exposed and refuted the myth that there can be no peace without a solution to the Palestinian question. For decades, both European and US administrations believed that there could be no progress in the region without a comprehensive solution to the Palestinian problem, including both the territorial and refugee issues. At present there has been no progress on either issue but the Arab countries, eager to reap the benefits of a relationship with Israel’s burgeoning hi-tech and industrial sectors.
Inexplicably, the Joint Arab List representing the Israeli Arab sector chose to oppose these peace agreements, citing the need for solidarity with the Palestinian Arabs. However th...

In a historic victory for religious liberty, Supreme Court agreed with Aguda and Catholics that Governor Cuomo can’t limit houses of worship if he excepts others such as theaters or bars.
The 5-4 ruling is a reversal from a similar case in which Ruth Bader Ginsberg ruled against. Her replacement, Amy Coney Barrett, sided with the majority. John Roberts voted with 4 liberals.
