The first B-21 stealth bomber test aircraft is “starting to look like an airplane” as parts arrive, suppliers integrate technologies and production surges forward. The military’s new-generation of stealth technology will usher in a new era in long-range strike options as the B-21 comes online.
The ultimate purpose of the aircraft was described by Defense Secretary Mark Esper during a recent visit to Northrop Grumman’s design and development headquarters in Melbourne, Florida.
“The B-21 brings the ability to strike any target anywhere is the ultimate strategic deterrent and the B-21 Raider will bring that capability,” Esper said, according to an Air Force report.

A man shot and wounded by a uniformed Secret Service officer, prompting President Donald Trump to be abruptly escorted out of a briefing room during a televised news conference, had been threatening to kill people near the White House, two officials familiar with the matter said Tuesday.
The man, Myron Basil Berryman, 51, of Forestville, Md., was arrested on a charge of assaulting a law enforcement officer, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. He remained hospitalized with critical injuries on Tuesday, according to authorities.

“The IDF views any terror activity against Israel with great severity and will continue operating as necessary against attempts to harm Israeli civilians,” the IDF said.
IDF fighter jets, attack helicopters and tanks struck a number of Hamas terror targets in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
During the strike a military compound, underground infrastructures and observation posts belonging to the Hamas terror organization were hit.

Joseph Graham Jr. had spent the night with a friend at one of the homes destroyed in Monday's explosion after a party Sunday night. His grandmothers' emotions are cycling between extreme sadness, anger and confusion.
As reported by WBAL-TV 11, Graham's grandmothers are leaning on each other, under the weight of unimaginable grief.
"He had so many dreams and aspirations. It's just heartbreaking,” said Cynthia Young, Graham’s grandmother.

A federal appeals court on Tuesday appeared unsympathetic to arguments that it should order a district court judge to dismiss criminal charges against former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
The full D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals reheard oral arguments about how the Flynn case should proceed at the lower court after the Department of Justice (DOJ) suddenly moved to withdraw its case against the former adviser to President Trump.
Most of the judges appeared concerned with an earlier decision from a divided three-judge circuit panel that would have forced the district court to approve the DOJ’s motion without holding a hearing.

The administration of President Donald Trump is considering a measure to block U.S. citizens and permanent residents from returning home if they are suspected of being infected with the new coronavirus, a senior U.S. official confirmed to Reuters.
The official said a draft regulation, which has not been finalized and could change, would give the government authorization to block individuals who could “reasonably” be believed to have contracted COVID-19 or other diseases.
Trump has instituted a series of sweeping immigration restrictions since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, suspending some legal immigration and allowing U.S. border authorities to rapidly deport migrants caught at the border without standard legal processes.

BALTIMORE — A man and woman are dead and seven people are seriously injured after three houses exploded Monday morning in northwest Baltimore, fire officials said.
Baltimore City fire officials said Tuesday that crews combing the rubble at 1 a.m. found a man's body. One woman was pronounced dead at the scene Monday morning.
"Just before one o'clock, they did locate the body of an adult male that brings our total fatality to two," Baltimore fire spokeswoman Blair Adams said.
According to Morgan State University, Joseph Graham, a rising sophomore, was the man recovered from the rubble.

Alternate Prime Minister and Defense Minister Benny Gantz is expected to arrive at Sheba Medical Center in the coming hours and begin a series of tests accompanied by the medical staff of the orthopedic department at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.
The minister is expected to undergo back surgery in order to fix an injury that has persisted since his service in the IDF and has worsened in recent months.

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit responded to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's letter claiming that the Attorney General was ignoring the threats against him.

New York City Councilman Paul Vallone says COVID-19 almost killed him in March but the controversial anti-viral drug hydroxychloroquine saved his life.
“I couldn’t breathe, very weak, couldn’t get out of bed,” Vallone, a Democrat who represents northeast Queens, told the New York Post. “My doctor prescribed it. My pharmacy had it. Took it that day and within two to three days I was able to breathe. Within a week I was back on my feet.”
Vallone said he took the drug along with a standard Z-Pak, a medical course of the antibiotic azithromycin, which is commonly given for bacterial infections.
