Post comparing Netanyahu to beheaded king of France, appears on official Twitter account of Israeli embassy in Ghana.
The official Twitter account of the Israeli embassy in Ghana, Africa, published an embarrassing tweet attacking Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and the Israeli haredi community.
The person who posted the tweet meant to use his personal account, but accidentally posted it on the embassy's official account
The embarrassing tweet was posted after Globes journalist Avishai Grinzaig criticized the claims by left-wing protesters that the protest outside the Prime Minister's Residence Tuesday night was similar to the storming of the Bastille during the French Revolution.

JERUSALEM (VINnews) — In the wake of the steep rise in authenticated cases of COVID-19 in Israel, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein declared Wednesday that unless there is a miracle, Israel is on the way to a second total lockdown.
Edelstein set 2000 infections per day as the maximum point at which Israel will have to initiate a renewed lockdown. The past day saw an unprecedented 1,718 positive diagnoses and Edelstein is pessimistic:
“What we are looking at is a synthesis of factors. If we reach 2000 new cases a day and a continuation of the worrying increase in seriously ill patients and patients on respirators, as hospitals inform us that they are stopping elective surgeries- then we will have to come to harsh consequences,” Edelstein told Ynet.

TEHRAN (JNS) – The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force, Maj. Gen. Esmail Ghaani, said on Tuesday that “tough times” await Israel and the United States.
Ghaani’s remarks broke the Iranian regime’s silence regarding a series of explosions that have recently occurred at Iranian industrial facilities.

All vehicles were rummaged through and miscellaneous items were stolen from some of the vehicles. Keys were left inside several of the vehicles that were stolen.

The Trump administration is poised to ask governors to consider sending in the National Guard to hospitals to help improve data collection about coronavirus patients, supplies and capacity, according to draft letters, internal emails and hospital industry officials familiar with the plans.
A letter, to be sent to governors imminently, backs away from earlier drafts that had directed state leaders to deploy the National Guard to help hospitals with daily data submissions. The Land of Israel Caucus of the Knesset proposed a bill on Monday to apply sovereignty to all Jewish communities in Yehuda and Shomron, not just the 30 percent laid out in U.S. President Donald Trump’s “Peace to Prosperity” plan.
The Caucus is a large lobby group made up of right-wing coalition and opposition lawmakers.

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R ) announced Wednesday that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
The governor made the announcement during a press conference, according to a local ABC affiliate is reporting. His test came out positive Tuesday afternoon.
According to Oklahoma Watch, Stitt led a Commissioners of the Land Office meeting Tuesday morning, wearing a mask on his neck.
Stitt advocated for President Trump’s in-person campaign rally in Tulsa last month. He attended the rally himself and was seen in images of the event not wearing a face mask. Read more at The Hill

At least 7 ships on fire in southern Iranian port city of Bushehr, according to Iranian report. Reason for fires not given.
At least seven ships were on fire in the southern Iranian port city of Bushehr, Tasnim reported on Wednesday, adding that the cause of the fires remains unclear.
Efforts are underway to bring the fire under control, IRNA cited Jahangir Dehghani, the head of the crisis management organization for Bushehr province, as saying.
The incident follows a series of explosions which have rocked Iran in recent weeks.

Retail giant to have staff at entrances of Walmart and Sam’s Club stores to enforce mask rules

Walmar will require shoppers to wear masks in all U.S. Walmart and Sam’s Club stores starting July 20, making it the largest retailer to mandate their use.

Israel’s Cabinet on Monday approved the remaining elements of the “Safety Net 2020-2021” rescue plan for the country’s struggling economy.
The Cabinet approved a draft law for several aspects of the plan that will require changes to legislation, as well to expand the 2020-2021 budgetary framework by NIS 24 billion ($7 billion) to pay for the plan’s implementation. The draft legislation will be immediately submitted to the Knesset for approval, according to a joint statement by the Prime Minister’s Office and the Finance Ministry.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was sued on Monday for failing to provide an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter during his press conferences and televised briefings regarding the coronavirus pandemic and the current hurricane season.
Disability Rights Florida, the National Association of the Deaf and four deaf and hard of hearing Floridians filed a complaint to a federal judge accusing DeSantis of violating the Americans With Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
The complaint states that there have been at least 48 instances since March 2 where DeSantis has discussed pandemic-related information such as school and business closures, testing, social distancing and other safety precautions without an in-frame ASL interpreter.
