United Hatzalah volunteer EMTs are currently responding to an explosion that took place near the town of Tamra that caused a large fire which included the destruction and burning of chemical tanks.  United Hatzalah regional director Naftali Rotenberg said: "United Hatzalah volunteers treated numerous people suffering various degrees of injuries as a result of the explosion. It has not yet been determined what caused the explosion. Our volunteers will be staying on the field until all the injured are treated and transported from the scene. "

The Honduran government formally declared Hezbollah a terrorist organization Monday. “We declare Hezbollah a terrorist organization and will include it in the registry of persons and institutions linked to acts of terrorism and its financing,” said Luis Suazo, Honduras’ deputy security minister. At least two people are dead and 15 people have been injured in a shooting in Kansas City, according to the Kansas City Police. Officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of Noland Road in the southeastern part of the city at about 11:30 p.m. when they received reports of a shooting. They arrived to a chaotic scene outside of a crowded bar where they say one adult female was shot and killed in the parking lot. No shots were fired by any of the responding officers. The National Science Foundation announced earlier this month that the first national U.S. observatory to be named after a female astronomer will honor Jewish scientist Vera Rubin. The Large Synoptic Survey Telescope in Cerro Pachón, Chile, will be renamed the NSF Vera C. Rubin Observatory. Science operations at the facility will begin in 2020. Nearly half of Israeli youths in 2019 failed to enter or complete their mandatory military service in the Israeli Defense Forces, Hebrew daily Yediot Aharonot reported on Sunday.
