President Trump tweeted on Saturday night that his administration has the legal right to send undocumented immigrants to sanctuary cities and demanded it happen.
“Just out: The USA has the absolute legal right to have apprehended illegal immigrants transferred to Sanctuary Cities,” he wrote. “We hereby demand that they be taken care of at the highest level, especially by the State of California, which is well known or its poor management & high taxes!”

Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro attempted to curb criticism over his comments that the Holocaust could be forgiven Saturday, saying that his words were being misinterpreted.
Bolsonaro on Thursday told a group of evangelical pastors in Rio de Janiero that “We can forgive, but we cannot forget. That quote is mine. Those that forget their past are sentenced not to have a future.”
In a clarification posted by Israel’s ambassador to Brazil Yossi Shelley late Saturday, Bolsonaro blamed “those who want to push me away from my Jewish friends,” for taking his speech out of context.

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed President Donald Trump, who shared a grim video featuring Rep. Ilhan Omar’s controversial 9/11 remarks alongside footage of the Twin Towers being attacked.

New York - Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are down.
All three social media platforms, including Facebook Messenger, were not loading as of early Sunday morning.
Downdetector.com, a site that monitors site outages, shows Facebook has been down since 6:30 a.m. in much of the world, with thousands of reported outages concentrated in northeastern U.S., Europe and the Philippines.
It was not immediately clear what caused the outage or how long the platforms would be down.
An email requesting comment about the outage was sent to Facebook.

Washington - Top Democrats on Saturday rushed to defend Rep. Ilhan Omar after President Donald Trump retweeted video that was edited to suggest she was being dismissive of the significance of the worst terrorist assault on U.S. soil.

Damascus - An Israeli airstrike on a military position in central Syria early Saturday wounded six soldiers and destroyed several buildings, Syria’s state news agency SANA reported.
SANA quoted an unnamed military official as saying the airstrike near the town of Masyaf, in Hama province, hit a military academy widely known as the Accounting School. It said Israeli warplanes fired missiles toward Syria from Lebanon’s airspace and that Syrian air defenses shot down some of the missiles.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the Israeli airstrikes hit three targets, wounding 17 Syrian soldiers. It said there were also deaths, but it was not immediately clear how many were killed and whether they were Iranians or Iran-sponsored fighters. It said the strikes ...

BALTIMORE (WBFF) - On Friday, hundreds in Baltimore’s Orthodox Jewish community turned out to Shomrei Emunah synagogue for a free measles vaccine clinic.
The Baltimore City Health Department helped put it together with Sinai Hospital and local leaders in just a few days after confirming last Friday a child in Pikesville has the measles.
Doctors and Jewish community leaders have been urging adults to make sure they and their children are up to date on their vaccines Friday’s clinic was mainly for adults.
It started at 10 in the morning. They had a steady stream of people during the day.

The violent weekly riots along the Israel-Gaza border, known as the “March of the Return”, resumed on Friday. An IDF spokesman told AFP that around “approximately 4,700 rioters and demonstrators” took part in various incidents along the frontier.
The Hamas-run “health ministry” in Gaza claimed a 15-year-old Palestinian Arab teenager was shot dead by the Israeli army during the renewed clashes.
At least 48 others were taken to hospital with a variety of injuries from clashes at several spots along the border, the ministry said without elaborating.

At 8:00a.m. Friday, Israel Railways was forced to stop all train traffic throughout Israel due to the fact that nearly half of the National Railways Command’s traffic controllers “called in sick,” leading to chaos at several train stations.
Histadrut Chairman Arnon Bar-David ordered Israel Railways’ Employees’ Committee to immediately locate substitutes for the missing controllers and the trains were able to return to normal operations.
“Israel Railways’ management apologizes to the passengers and takes the wild and illegal step taken by the employees’ representatives very seriously. We will do everything possible in order to prevent such incidents in the future.”

Pennsylvania lawmakers on Wednesday honored the memory of the 11 Jewish worshippers who were killed in October 2018 at the Tree of Life Or L’Simcha Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
The joint session in the state’s House of Representatives in the capital, Harrisburg, was attended by nearly two-dozen relatives of the victims.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is recalling all models of Fisher-Price Rock N' Play sleepers after it was linked to over 30 infant deaths.
The move comes just a few days after the American Academy of Pediatrics, a professional organization of pediatricians known by the acronym AAP, called on the CPSC to recall the products, citing an analysis from Consumer Reports magazine connecting it to 32 sleep-related infant deaths.

Georgetown University could become the first college in the nation to mandate a fee to benefit descendants of slaves sold by the university nearly 200 years ago after a student referendum passed by almost a 2-to-1 margin.
The school’s undergraduates voted Thursday on the referendum, which would increase tuition by $27.20 per semester to create a fund benefiting descendants of the 272 slaves sold to pay off the Georgetown Jesuits’ debt — a move that saved the university financially.
