Tunnel running from Rafah to Eshkol was originally destroyed during Protective Edge; another tunnel was bombed in the central Gaza Strip overnight; Lieberman: 'Hamas should invest the money in welfare of the Gaza residents, because by the end of the year its tunnel project will be eliminated.'
The IDF destroyed for the second time on Sunday a terror tunnel initially demolished during Operation Protective Edge, which Hamas has tried to put back into operations.
The tunnel, which runs from Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip to the Eshkol Regional Council inside Israel, was flooded with materials rendering the whole network unusable.

MIAMI (AP) — Officials were so concerned about the mental stability of the student accused of last month's Florida school massacre that they decided he should be forcibly committed.
But the recommendation was never acted upon.
A commitment under the law would have made it more difficult if not impossible for Nikolas Cruz to obtain a gun legally.
Cruz is accused of the shooting rampage that killed 14 students and three school employees at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland on Feb. 14. In addition, 17 people were wounded.

An exit poll showed Vladimir Putin won Russia's presidential election held on Sunday with 73.9 percent of the vote.
The voting projection, by pollster VTsIOM, put Communist party challenger Pavel Grudinin in second place with 11.2 percent.
Vladimir Zhirinovsky, head of the nationalist Liberal Democratic Party, was on 6.7 pct, and TV personality Ksenia Sobchak had 2.5 percent, the exit poll showed.

Berlin - North Korean rockets can now be fitted with nuclear weapons and could reach Germany and central Europe, a top official with Germany’s foreign intelligence agency told lawmakers this week, according to a report in the Bild am Sonntag newspaper.
BND Deputy Director Ole Diehl told lawmakers during a closed-door meeting that the assessment was “certain,” the newspaper reported, citing participants in the briefing.
