The U.S. Postal Service has launched an investigation after a metro Atlanta resident says she filmed a worker dumping hundreds of pieces of mail in the woods.
Kellie Campbell of DeKalb County tells WSB-TV ( http://2wsb.tv/2dQ81mT ) she recorded the postal worker walking near a fence and dumping several bins of mail into a ditch.
Campbell called the Postal Service, which sent workers to collect and deliver the mail.

The controversial president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, announced what he called his “separation” from the U.S. Thursday in his latest speech aimed at rankling Washington.
“I announce my separation from the United States both in military and economics also,” Duterte announced to a cheering crowd in Beijing. He added, "America does not control our lives. Enough bulls---," according to AFP.
Duterte has previously said the Philippines would stop joint military exercises with the U.S., and he opposes joint patrols with the U.S. Navy in the South China Sea. But U.S. officials say its commitment to the treaty alliance with the Philippines remains "ironclad."

During the third presidential debate, Hillary Clinton claimed that “33,000 people a year…die from guns.”
Fact-Check: FALSE
This is a claim Clinton often makes to make gun violence appear to be raging out of control; to justify the government stepping in with more rules and regulations to keep the American people safe.
However, a Fact-Check shows Clinton’s claim is not only false, but is exaggerated by 66 percent.
She is using figures from 2013, and reporting them in a way that distorts what really happened with guns that year. Clinton first began making this claim in November 2015, repeated it in April 2016, and has since repeated it again and again.

IG report reveals incomplete, lost contract files worth $6B
The State Department misplaced and lost some $6 billion due to the improper filing of contracts during the past six years, mainly during the tenure of former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, according to a newly released Inspector General report.
The $6 billion in unaccounted funds poses a “significant financial risk and demonstrates a lack of internal control over the Department’s contract actions,” according to the report.

Terrorist who planned attack on event hall and soldier kidnapping loses citizenship; worked with Gazans illegally in Israel.
Interior Minister Aryeh Deri ordered on Thursday evening that the citizenship of terrorist Hani Abu Omra be revoked. Abu Omra lives in Tel Sheva. He and his terror cell planned to carry out a large-scale terror attack on an event hall in southern Israel.

An alleged Trump supporter sent a Jewish Politico reporter a threatening and anti-Semitic message that she should leave the US or be killed.
A Jewish editor for the political news websitePolitico has been suffering anti-Semitic abuse over twitter from a purported supporter of Donald Trump.
Hadas Gold, the editor of Politico's “On The Media” blog, received a message with a photoshopped image of her wearing the yellow patch the Nazis forced Jews to wear and with a bullet hole on her forehead.
The message underneath the image said "Don't mess with our boy, Trump, or you will be first in line for the camp." The message went on to threaten “Aliyah or line up by the wall, your choice.”

A school principal from the Arab town of Issawiya near Jerusalem's French Hill neighborhood, who was photographed with a banner praising the terrorist who murdered two people last week, was suspended by the Education Ministry.
According to a report by Channel 2, the principal and a physical education teacher were photographed alongside the school's soccer team, which was holding up a banner praising the terrorist.
The team's coach was arrested on suspicion of incitement.

A UN panel of experts has found evidence of "well-established networks" of arms suppliers in Eastern Europe and the Middle East that are fueling the war in South Sudan.
In a confidential report to the Security Council obtained by AFP on Thursday, the panel described the arms deals that are not recent and involve Israeli and Bulgarian firms.
The council has threatened to impose an arms embargo on South Sudan to try to end the fighting that has killed tens of thousands of people and driven 2.5 million from their homes.

A sukkah on a residential building in Bayit Vegan caught fire and burned down. Firefighters now have the blaze under control.
Three firefighting units and a crane were called to deal with a fire that broke out in a sukkah on a residential building in the Bayit Vegan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
The sukkah was destroyed in the fire, and the exterior of the building suffered fire damage. Smoke also accumulated in several apartments.
Fire crews have gained control of the blaze and are working to vent the smoke out of the apartments.
Once the smoke has been cleared the Israel Fire and Rescue Services will begin an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.

An 11-month baby was bitten by a black widow spider and is in Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera, for treatment.
The parents of the infant told the story of how she was bitten two days ago by a black spider. They were worried then that it was a black widow and when they saw her begin writhing in pain they rushed her to the hospital immediately where she was treated and is expected to be released in the coming days.
The parents described the moment the baby was bitten and said that from the moment she was bitten until the moment they decided to bring her to the hospital, only a few minutes went by.
