Baltimore, MD - June 28, 2025 - Shortly before 3pm, the Baltimore City Fire Department received multiple calls reporting a fire at Baltimore & Guilford. Upon arrival, units observed smoke coming from four manholes and requested additional resources. Multiple agencies are currently operating on the scene. BGE is working to secure and shut down power, while DOT and OEM are actively managing street closures. Roads are closed within a one block radius of the incident. At this time, there are no injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
