I am begging you, please help save my daughter My name is Yitzchak, and I am writing to you as a broken and worried father. Our dear Avigayil, less than a year old now, was born with a small, heartwarming smile, but now she’s fighting a severe illness—cutaneous lymphoma. The word “cancer” is still too heavy for us to assimilate, and the fear is unrelenting. A few years ago, my wife Tehillah and I went through a terrible time when our eldest daughter was fighting for her life after a severe accident. Somehow, we managed to get through it, but now we’re facing another painful battle, and we lose entire nights to worry. For our baby Avigayil to overcome this illness, she urgently needs costly biological treatment. We need your help. I am reaching out from the ...

Israel has already begun laying out a list of recommendations for the Trump administration for ways to combat the International Criminal Court (ICC), which on Thursday issued arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. According to the report by Kan News, over the past few days, Israel has compiled a list of suggested actions and sanctions against both the court and even specific individuals in it. Officials in both Israel and around the world have condemned the ICC's decision. The Prime Minister's Office called the decision "antisemitic" and likened it to the Dreyfus trial, adding that "No anti-Israel decision will prevent the State of Israel from defending its citizens." Incoming US National Security Advisor...
Baltimore, MD - Nov. 21, 2024  - The updated snowfall map calls for a possible dusting on Friday for areas NW of I-95. This, if verified, would only accumulate on the grass and car tops. There will be no accumulation on the roads or sidewalks. For areas north of I-70, especially across the MD/PA state line, the Catoctin Mountains, and southern PA, 1-1.5 inches seems possible, with perhaps an isolated 2" total somewhere. Even here, paved surfaces will likely remain just wet, with accumulation being confined to grass and car tops. We expect no travel impacts to the Friday morning commute. As far as timing goes, it has been pushed back a touch, starting Friday morniong in southern PA and northern MD between 4am and 7am. Areas along and just south of the I-70 corridor can expect snow...

Matt Gaetz, the former Florida representative and Trump nominee for Attorney General, announced Thursday that he is withdrawing as Trump's pick for the top prosecutor, citing what he described as the "distraction" his nomination had caused [...].  "While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition," Gaetz said. "There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I'll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump's DOJ must be in place and ready on Day 1."
As our population has aged over the last several decades, it has been accompanied by a marked increase in Parkinson’s disease(PD).  The amount of increase is, however, so astounding that one must wonder what else may be going on. While an aging population certainly can account for this increase, are there other factors playing into what has really become an epidemic?  According to a paper published in 2018 by E Ray Dorsey and his colleagues, “neurological disorders are now the leading source of disability globally, and the fastest growing neurological disorder in the world is Parkinson disease. From 1990 to 2015, the number of people with Parkinson disease doubled to over 6 million” They also state that this number is projected to double again to over 12 million...
Baltmore, MD - Nov. 21, 2024  - It was a promise President Biden made the same day that the Key Bridge and six Marylanders fell into the Patapsco River - the federal government would foot the bill for rebuilding the Key Bridge. Now, nearly 8 months later, federal agencies are running out of time, and money to keep that promise. Between severe weather events like Hurricane Helene, or catastrophes like the Key Bridge collapse, communities across the country have asked the federal government for help. Now, money for key disaster relief programs is drying up. “With each passing day, we are growing closer to a situation where this department will not be able to provide even partial funding for eligible projects,” U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said...
Baltimore, MD - Nov. 21, 2024  - Utility bills are a necessity, happen monthly and usually cost a lot. It's why scammers are looking to take advantage of people looking to lower their energy bills. "Someone giving you a call and saying your electric is going to be shut off you need to pay us right now," said Jane Ballentine. "Someone texts you a QR code and says take this to a cryptocurrency bank, you need to send us the money. Or sending you an email saying very similar things or asking you to pay through Cash App or Zelle or Venmo." There are ways to figure out the person contacting you isn't from BGE, mainly in the types of requests they make. "BGE is not going to call you, we do not call and ask for money, we are not going to ask you for your social security number o...
Florida Congressman and incoming National Security Advisor Mike Waltz slammed the ICC's issuing of arrest warrants for  Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Thursday, saying the international court has "no credibility." "These allegations have been refuted by the US government," Waltz wrote in a post on X. "Israel has lawfully defended its people & borders from genocidal terrorists. You can expect a strong response to the antisemitic bias of the ICC & UN come January." Other condemnations In a post on X, Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton decried the ICC as a "kangaroo court" and called Karim Khan a deranged fanatic." "Woe to him and anyone who tries to enforce these outlaw warrants," Cotton wrote. "Let me ...
Baltimore, MD - Nov. 21, 2024 -  We now know what the proposed design will be for the new Key Bridge. The design suggests a fixed-cable bridge on the same alignment and within the existing right-of-way. The remnants of the existing bridge will be removed down to or below two feet below the existing mudline. The new bridge will also meet current highway design standards. These designs were submitted to the U.S. Coast Guard for approval of the location as a proposal from the Maryland Transportation Authority. Comments on navigational information like the sizes and types of vessels presently operated on the waterway are due to the Coast Guard by December 7.
Australia's Labor government on Thursday refused former Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked an entry visa. The reason given for the refusal is Shaked's opposition to the creation of a Palestinian state. In a response to her request for a visa, Shaked was informed that her entry may hurt the feelings of a different group in the country. Shaked had been scheduled to attend an AIJAC conference between Israel and Australia. "The decision by Australia's government to prevent my entry into its territory for the purpose of participating in a strategic dialogue between the countries is clear testimony to its hypocrisy and its hostile attitude towards Israel. [It is] a government which claims to be democratic but acts to silence voices which oppose its extremist pro-Palestinian agenda,...
“This is a dark day for justice. A dark day for humanity.Taken in bad faith, the outrageous decision at the ICC has turned universal justice into a universal laughing stock. It makes a mockery of the sacrifice of all those who fight for justice - from the Allied victory over the Nazis till today. It ignores the plight of the 101 Israeli hostages held in brutal captivity by Hamas in Gaza. It ignores Hamas’ cynical use of its own people as human shields. It ignores the basic fact that Israel was barbarically attacked and has the duty and right to defend its people. It ignores the fact that Israel is a vibrant democracy, acting under international humanitarian law, and going to great lengths to provide for the humanitarian needs of the civilian population.Indeed, the decision has c...
A senior defense official said on Thursday that Israel is closer to reaching a deal with Hamas than it has been in the past year. According to the official, the deal would be a "humanitarian" one and would include the release of hostages, a 42-day ceasefire, the release of terrorists, and other heavy prices that Israel would have to pay. The official stressed: "There will be a price to the deal, but we are convinced that after 42 days we'll know how to go back to fighting." Regarding Iran, he said that the time is ripe and the conditions are there to attack the nuclear facilities: "Iran was never exposed to an attack like it is now." According to him, Hezbollah is also open to a deal and the unsolved issues are being discussed. The official concluded that if a deal were to be sign...
