President Trump on Tuesday pardoned Devon Archer, arguing that the former business partner to Hunter Biden was treated unfairly. Archer become a key figure in House Republicans’ investigation into Biden’s business dealings after he was convicted in 2018 by a federal jury on charges of defrauding a Native American tribe by fraudulently issuing and selling more than $60 million of tribal bonds.  The White House on Tuesday argued that after Archer was prosecuted in a fraud investigation, the “tone and tenor” changed when he cooperated and served as a witness against the Biden family. “And many people have asked me to do this. I think he was treated very unfairly. And, I looked at the records, studied the records, and he was. He was a v...

Natan Sharansky, former Chairman of the Jewish Agency and government minister, addressed the evolving experiences of Jews worldwide in the aftermath of the October 7 massacre at the Jewish People Policy Institute conference. The event, held in honor of Diaspora Week, was titled "Diaspora Jewry After October 7." Sharansky criticized the silence of international women's rights organizations regarding severe violations of women's rights, which he described as unprecedented in modern history. He noted that not a single such organization publicly acknowledged these violations. Recounting his visits to US college campuses following the October 7 attack, Sharansky said he inquired whether any progressive organizations had expressed outrage or sympathy for Israel but found none. He men...
Delegations from Russian and Ukraine on Tuesday agreed to a ceasefire in the Black Sea following talks with Trump administration officials this week in Saudi Arabia. "The United States and Russia have agreed to ensure safe navigation, eliminate the use of force, and prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes in the Black Sea," the White House said in a statement following talks in Jeddah. Similarly, just moments later, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, who is leading the delegation confirmed that "All parties have agreed to ensure safe navigation, eliminate the use of force, and prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes in the Black Sea." Though he also emphasized that "all movement by Russia of its military vessels outside of [the] e...
Columbia University interim president Katrina Armstrong held closed-door meetings with faculty over the weekend to address mounting concerns about the school’s future amid federal investigations, the Wall Street Journal reported. Armstrong warned of potential funding cuts while also attempting to downplay fears that the university’s recent agreement with the government compromised its academic independence. At the center of faculty frustration is Columbia’s response to federal scrutiny, particularly regarding its mask policy. While the university’s agreement with the Trump administration included a commitment to banning identity-concealing masks during unauthorized protests, Armstrong reassured faculty that there was no outright mask ban. This contradicti...
The lawsuit filed on Monday against anti-Israel groups that are alleged to have aided Hamas on campus returned focus back to campus activists and their ties to the Palestinian terror group. This is because "Within Our Lifetime" is not the first group to be sued for ties to Palestinian terror organizations, particularly Hamas, in recent years. Within Our Lifetime (WOL) WOL leader, Nardeen Kiswani, is a Palestinian-American born in Jordan. She was involved in the establishment of NYC SJP in 2015, forming a coalition of chapters across the City University of New York schools. NYC SJP then evolved into WOL in 2018. Head of WOL, Nerdeen Kiswani, posted on X/Twitter on October 8, 2024, that "October 7th has always been a day against Nazism, and now it's counterpart Zionism!"...

The Jerusalem District Court has issued a temporary garnishee order to seize 50 million shekels of Palestinian Authority funds for Rabbi Leo Dee, whose wife Lucy and daughters Maia and Rina were murdered in a shooting attack two years ago. Rabbi Dee sued the PA and the Hamas terror organization in October for the murder of his family members. "I call on all the other terror victims in Israel to do the same and to seize the PA's funds that go to pay the salaries of terrorists. Together, we could take the enemy's assets," Rabbi Dee stated.
Director General of the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD), Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram, opened the first international conference of the Rehabilitation Department today (Tuesday) at Tel Aviv University. Emphasizing the Ministry's commitment to comprehensive care for wounded security forces personnel, he stated: "When Israeli soldiers and commanders go into battle, they have great confidence in the defense establishment and the State of Israel, across the entire chain of casualty care – evacuation, treatment, and rehabilitation." "When our young soldiers swear their oath of allegiance, they make a profound commitment, not merely reciting words. Their strength and resolve demand an equally strong rehabilitation system. The continuum of care for our wounded must maintain consisten...
Leading US-based anti-Israel activist groups including Columbia University Apartheid Divest and Within Our Lifetime and heads like Mahmoud Khalil had prior knowledge of the October 7 Massacre, alleged a Monday lawsuit by the families of the Hamas-led attack's victims. The victims are seeking damages for activists aiding and abetting Gazan terrorist organizations, with some groups, whom Hamas members reportedly saw as operatives, reactivating just before the pogrom and others issuing protest and propaganda materials as the event unfolded in southern Israel. The suit was filed to the New York Southern District Court against Within Our Lifetime and its leader Nerdeen Kiswani, Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine and representative Maryam Alwan, Columbia-Barnard Jewish V...

US Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa), who has emerged as one of the strongest supporters of Israel in the Democratic Party, expressed his support for Israel's continued military operation against Hamas today (Monday). "Hamas’ leadership has the choice to free the hostages or face swift elimination," Sen. Fetterman wrote on X in response to a Wall Street Journal story on the elimination of Hamas leaders over the last week. "The Palestinian tragedy was designed and maintained exclusively by Hamas. This war is Hamas’ choice and my full support follows Israel," he said. Last week, Sen. Fetterman visited Israel and met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem. During the meeting, Netanyahu and his wife Sara thanked t...
The Trump administration accidentally texted their military strikes against the Houthi terrorist organization to The Atlantic's editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor wrote on Monday on the magazine platform. Goldberg wrote in his piece that he knew the attacks were coming two hours prior, noting that he received the military plans of Houthi targets, weapons packages, and the timing of the attack straight from US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. The editor added that he received the information on the strikes against the Houthis on Signal, an open-source encrypted messaging service, where he received a connection request from National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, whom he initially just believed to be someone else masquerading as him. He then said he recei...

Egypt has threatened to expel recently released Hamas prisoners from its territory if the terrorist organization fails to show flexibility and agree to a revised hostage deal that would extend the current ceasefire in Gaza, a senior Israeli official said. The prisoners in question were freed as part of the last hostage exchange and are temporarily residing in Egypt, as no other country has agreed to receive them. Why does it matter?  The reported threat is part of mounting pressure exerted by top Egyptian intelligence officials on Hamas to accept an updated deal that could lead to the release of more hostages and a prolonged truce. Behind the scenes According to the Israeli official, the Egyptian pressure follows sharp messages conveyed by US White House envoy...
