Tel Aviv, Israel - Nov. 9, 2025 - Following the completion of the identification process by the National Institute of Forensic Medicine, in cooperation with the Israel Police and the Military Rabbinate, IDF representatives informed the family of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin that his body has been returned for burial.
Lieutenant Hadar Goldin fell in combat during Operation “Protective Edge”, following a violation of the ceasefire by the Hamas terrorist organization in Rafah on August 1st, 2014, during which he was abducted. Since that day, Hadar has been held by Hamas in Gaza. For more than 4,118 nights and days, his family has never stopped fighting for his return, and the people of Israel have walked beside them in their struggle.

Hamas has handed over remains believed to be Hadar Goldin, an Israeli soldier who was killed in 2014 and his body held as a bargaining chip for over 4,000 days, Israel said Sunday.

The Supreme Court on Friday granted the Trump administration’s emergency appeal to temporarily block a court order to fully fund SNAP food aid payments amid the government shutdown, even though residents in some states already have received the funds.
A judge had given the Republican administration until Friday to make the payments through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Homes Evacuated Amid Massive Fire Baltimore, MD – Nov. 7, 2025 – Firefighters are battling a massive four-alarm blaze at a commercial building on 23rd Street, east of the Jones Falls Expressway. Heavy flames and thick smoke have forced the evacuation of nearby homes as crews conduct defensive operations.
According to SKY 11, half of the roof of the commercial structure has already been destroyed. City fire, emergency, and police officials remain on the scene, and no injuries have been reported.
